Hello. I am a 22 year old young lady who is in a financial crisis. I have been behind on bills since I was 18 years old. My father was murdered and ever since then I have been on my own. I moved to VA with my step mom and lived with her but then I got pregnant and she said that I needed to find my own place. I work as a server but because I am a full time student I can not work as much as I need to. I work at most 3 times a week. M$y boyfriend tries the best he could but he too is a server. We have paid rent 2 weeks late for the past 7 months. Our cable has been turned off due to non payments and now we owe them at least $700, our electric bill is two months late, my car insurance was cancelled for non payment and I still owe them about $200, my cell phone bill will not be able to be paid which is also about $200, I have bills in North Carolina (where i use to live) that I still owe that have already gone to collection agencies, and to top it all off, the lease at the apartment I am currently renting is up on February 7 and we still have not found a place to go. To get the new place we need to pay an application fee which can range from $25-$40 per applicant, a down deposit, and a security deposit. I have been overwhelmingly stressed out and am very afraid. I am trying to hold it together for my sons sake but I can not act like this is going to go away or get better any time soon. The reality check is I need some serious financial help. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
